OMNI Workshop was introduced in Ehime Shimbun.

This workshop was held in collaboration with Shikokuchuo City and all participants were children. The children learned about the problems of the sea and exchanged their own unique ideas.

One of the things that impressed me the most was the idea for the problem of plastic waste. The children suggested ways to recycle plastic waste floating in the ocean and ways to reduce plastic waste. Various ideas were also presented regarding the protection of marine life and the conservation of the marine environment.

In this workshop, children can freely exchange ideas, and it is expected that the ideas will actually be useful. Thinking about the future of the ocean is also important for children, and I hope that such efforts will continue in the future.
