About us
The OMNI project is a large-scale citizen science marine observation network conducted by the DLX Design Lab at the Institute of Industrial Science, the University of Tokyo, which explores and develops new methods of ocean measurement by engaging communities.
Within this OMNI project, OMNI Microplastic is a citizen science research focused on microplastics, while OMNI Marine Litter is a citizen science social science research related to marine litter.
The OMNI project is a research project conducted by DLX Design Lab at the Institute of Industrial Science, the University of Tokyo, in cooperation with the University of Tokyo FSI and the Nippon Foundation, as part of the University of Tokyo's Ocean Alliance Project.
